Why Do We Charge A Booking Fee
Wherever possible we will not charge you an additional booking fee. However, for certain shows, we have to add this. Generally, around ¼ of the ticket revenue for a show comes to the venue. The rest goes to paying the production companies and other venue costs. In order to bring you the best shows, which may be more expensive to the venue, we sometimes have to add a booking fee to the ticket price in order to maintain our share of the income. This then comes direct to the venue to help maintain facilities and general upkeep. Thank you for your support.

Refunds and Exchanges
We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded. Any refunds in special circumstances will be issued as a cheque from the Borough Council. Returned tickets will only be offered for resale when the venue is sold out and at a handling charge of £1 per ticket.
Children are very welcome at the Corn Exchange. The Coffee House offers high chairs. Baby changing facilities are also available in the ladies and gents toilets. Babes in arms (children under 2) will be admitted free of charge to all shows but must sit on an adult’s lap. All other children require their own tickets at full price if no child concessions are available at the time of booking. Parents and/or supervisors are responsible for supervising children in their care at all times.
