King’s Lynn Players present West Side Story

The King's Lynn Players return to the Corn Exchange with the classical musical West Side Story. Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and packed with unforgettable songs including Maria, Tonight, Somewhere, America and I Feel Pretty, the musical explores the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks. Founder of the Jets Tony, falls in love with Maria, the sister of Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks. The dark themes, memorable music and vibrant dance scenes make for one of the most successful musicals of all times.

Based on a conception of Jerome Robbins : Book by Arthur Laurents : Music By Leonard Bernstein : Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim : Originally produced on Broadway by Robert E Griffiths & Harold Prince by arrangement with Roger L Stevens.
